چکیده

The aim of this study was to verify the reproducibility and accuracy preoperative planning in maxilla repositioning surgery performed with use computer-aided design/manufacturing technologies mixed reality surgical navigation, using new registration markers HoloLens headset. Eighteen patients a mean age 26.0 years were included. Postoperative evaluations conducted by comparing virtual operation three-dimensional image (Tv) 1-month postoperative computed tomography (T1). surface analysis errors ranged from 79.9% 97.1%, an average error 90.3%. In point-based analysis, at each point on XYZ axes calculated for Tv T1 all cases. median signed value deviation points ?0.03 mm (range ?2.93 3.93 mm). absolute 0.38 0 There no statistically significant differences between any axes. These values indicate that method used able reproduce position high accuracy.

Single-tooth dento-osseous osteotomy with a computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing surgical guide

This clinical note introduces a method to assist surgeons in performing single-tooth dento-osseous osteotomy. For use in this method, a surgical guide was manufactured using computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing technology and was based on preoperative surgical simulation data. This method was highly conducive to successful single-tooth dento-osseous segmental osteotomy.
